We would like to congratulate all of World University Service of Canada's student-led Local Committees, and individual donors who contributed to WUSC and CARE Canada's Vocational Training for Afghan Women Project during the Afghanistan Challenge pilot phase. As a result of their efforts, the target goal of $37,500 has been met.

How can I help Afghans earn a living?

Finance a micro-loan

MEDA is working with Afghan entrepreneurs to grow the Afghan economy from the ground up. With your support, this initiative will provide micro-loans to help people - mostly women - do things such as starting a business, raising chickens, or even building furniture. MEDA impacts more than two million people every year. Families are finding hope, a future and the dignity that comes from earning a living.
